The clients and location of this project were very special; Luca and Jackie are in their 50’s, and live with their two teenage kids, Lucie and Ben. They decided to build a secondary home in the beautiful hills of the Israeli Lower Galilee, their childhood region. Currently living in Europe, they chose this location for their personal emotional attachment as well as its beautiful views.

Luca works as the CFO of an international Human Rights Organisation, and his wife Jackie is a therapist specialised in post trauma. They are well traveled and have lived in several areas in the world, including Asia, Europe and Africa. It is during their travels that they have learnt to love and appreciate a multi-cultural lifestyle filled with a mixture of memories and encounters from places they visited and lived in. The house they asked us to design is created to reflect their image: eclectic, rough, authentic and warm at the same time. A place that is inviting and lively, where parties and dinners are held and stories are shared.
